Its coming back

The Bed and Breakfast has continued to attract guests – Melbourne to  NSW ski resorts being the main visitors. Tallangatta 4 hours from Melbourne then 4 hours to the snow.

I had hoped that as I was a way for a wedding in July our weir water may have returned in my absence as it ‘disappeared’ last time I was attending a wedding in March. It was not to be. August however  has seen it returning. So our beautiful green valley with the Mitta Mitta River snaking its way down to Albury is disappearing  for yet another year and the water vista is back be it still not 50% full. I have lost the river flats for the dogs to run on, but having the water back is just so great.

Rabbits are starting to have an impact on the front garden. They are nibbling my newly planted bushes. They are very cheeky. I watch them from the front window hopping gently across the grass without a care in the world. So ‘plant guards’ are the new design feature of the front garden. Ugly but necessary for a while
